BRAIN HEALTH PROGRAM

Welcome to the Brain Health Program (BHP) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH)!
The BHP is located within the Center for Brain/Mind Medicine (CBMM), which contains the Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology, the Division of Neuropsychiatry, and the Division of Neuropsychology at BWH.

The BHP is a clinical and research enterprise with a single, unifying mission:  To improve overall brain health for those with and at risk for cognitive impairment.  The BHP runs various exciting research projects and treatment program with the following goals:

  • To better understand healthy, cognitive aging
  • To study and develop programs to facilitate brain healthy behaviors within medical care for patients at risk for and with cognitive disorders
  • To treat, support, and educate patients who have experienced cognitive changes
  • To produce and disseminate knowledge of evidence-based brain health promoting programs

The BHP is led by BWH faculty members in Neurology, Neuropsychology, Physiatry, and Social Work and has research collaborators at other centers who contribute to the Program’s mission.
